Gross image and full-montage of the ccRCC and TCRC, respectively. A) The larger mass
was well encapsulated, tan-yellow to red and grossly suggestive of ccRCC. This lesion was not associated with the smaller nodule. B) Full-montage of the smaller
lesion. The 'spongy' nodule encountered in the gross description (arrows) was composed
of cystically-dilated irregular tubules of different sizes, separated by fibrovascular
septae (H&E).
