The eosin and hematoxylin dye absorption spectra and the average spectral error of
the eosinophils; the spectral error of the eosinophils is scaled to have a clearer
illustration. We can observe that the error peaks of the eosinophils correspond to
the absorption peak of the hematoxylin dye. This could imply that the difference between
eosinophils and other tissue structures which are stained similarly lies on their
absorption of the hematoxylin dye.
