Increased Microvessel Density in CLL vs Controls. Microvessel density was highest at the periphery of focal infiltrates. This is a
case of CLL (left panel) with nodular lymphoid infiltrates. The image shows an increase
in CD34+ microvessels at the leading edge of an infiltrate. In the control tissue
(right panel), the microvessel density is somewhat less.
